a lot of people also thought Pacquiao won...

**** goes both ways. Nevertheless, Marquez is a superb boxer, and I liked what I saw tonight. Yes haters can say Diaz got beat by Paulie, but that wasn't his weight class, and anyone who knows boxing can easily see that Diaz doesn't possess the footwork necessary to keep up with a fighter like Paulie. Add that to the fact that he was out of his natural weight, and a size disadvantage was prevalent it doesn't necessarily take away from JMM win, as haters in this thread has stated.

Pacman has improved tremendously, heavier, faster with both hands having power to KO his opponent, The aging Marquez won't have a chance.

Marquez looks bloated and not comfortable with the 147lbs when he fought Mayweather jr.

While, Pacman at 147lbs, look comfortable with the weight, faster, stronger and both hands with power punches.

Instead, of the aging Marquez, let Pacman fight an African-American Boxer -

Either, Bradley or Williams next year!
what's the big deal with african american boxers...

so what? im not boosting margacheato but he would destroy bradley if they fought. So would Cotto...

      quit that haterism

You know how we do, believe whatever you like...The facts are, Pac is not moving back down to 135.

So the topic is dead. Peace.

Don't be so sure about Katsidis.

Katsidis will be way more hittable than Diaz was tonight - even with his style refined to incorporate more defence in recent fights, it's just in Mike's nature to fight a way that will give Marquez opportunities to tee off...even a depleted Diaz has significantly better boxing basics than Katsidis. And Marquez can punch a bit.

I see it being explosive, though. Anything could conceivably happen.

            Marquez won't get Pacquiao.

Let Khan pick on the 140lbers.

            I want to see Marquez-Katsidis, that's where it's at.

The coward will never do that. Instead of fighting a guy in his own weight class or move up. He asked the old past his prime lightweight to move up his weight class and then cheated some more in a catchweight fight. Shameless coward!

If any of the top welters had to drop to 135, Marquez copuld beat them. It is called weight draining. Kind of makes the thread pointless I guess.

No he won't he is too old now.

If pacquiao had manned up after the first fight and gave him the rematch immediately he would have beaten him. Unfortunately his time has passed and its easily apparent.

a welterweight who doesn't come in much more than 147 can make 135.

most welterweights come in around 160 that's why they can't make 135.

a small welter like pac can make 135 if he really wanted to.

if hatton and delahoya had kicked his ass at 147 and 140 , pacquiao would be fighting at 135 right now.

According to the *******s Manny is a LW beating the best WW in the division. Arum, Ariza, and Pac's team said Manny can easily make 135 if they can find a big fight at 135.
