JMM couldn't KO a hesitant, mentally crippled Diaz and Diaz didn't have anywhere near the tenacity he had in the first fight. He should have used the same gameplan as the first fight, he was doing well last time until the cut.

Both fighters looked pretty good, but Marquez really impressed me. He looked fast as **** at times. Maybe he should keep coming in around 133 for his title defenses.

This wasn't the JMM that fought Joel Casamayor or Manny Pacquiao 2-3 years ago but that's what happens when you get older.

What he did tonight - for the most part - was use his boxing ability and technical skills to keep Diaz in his range. Why Juan Diaz decided to take the Miguel Cotto(vs Manny) approach tonight surprised me. In their 1st bout, he was getting to JMM, but for some reason I guess he was too hesitant to apply more pressure.

I think JMM is good for a few more fights but he's not a PPV fighter anymore. I love how he boxes and would watch any fight he's apart of but I'm not trying to see him go against some bigger, younger, stronger and faster competition. It's not time to hang it up, but it is time to be careful about who you face.

Again, this is what happens when you get older and have been in as many wars as JMM has. He still has enough in the tank to be guys like Juan Diaz, but I just don't think he has enough to beat guys who have more in their arsenal.

JMM should also NOT go up to 140 either.
