To all wanna be great champions.

This is how you do it. Come into the Fav's hometown. Knock him out with swagger and do it for peanuts. Just to get that chance.

Great things now await Pirog, as he will be the highlight of the night.

I was really impressed with Pirog, he really is a very good fighter. He's already 30 so i hope he doesn't take any time off and keeps fighting for tittles against great fighters.

This is what all fighters outside of America should do. Fight on one of the big stages, get a big win, then the money will come. Pirog will probably gross more money now than Calzaghe lol. Not to mention you will get a ton of love from all media outlets.

Is there any particular reason they didn't interview Pirog after the fight?

Seems a little odd considering he just won a major middleweight world title, scoring a major upset, and the fact that they interviewed Jacobs.

Maybe, but I just figured they would've at least tried, congratulated him or something. 50K is shockingly little for a title fight on the undercard of a PPV as well.

If Paul Williams would of done this a couple of time he would of been known outside the hardcore by now.

Kinda funny how you edited your opening post in that thread where you were rooting for Jacobs (before he got KTFO.)

He beat Margarito in California even if he didn't knock him out, and Margarito wasn't a prospect. I don't get what you are saying.
