Taylor outboxed Hopkins early and Hopkins tried to win the fight in the last few rounds...it dont work like that...he deserved to lose his titles..he is a dirty ass fighter...Jermain Taylor beat him fair and squar with no dirty tactics...Taylor will win a rematch also...He is only gonna get better...For him to perform as well as he did against Hopkins after fighting no one on Championship level b4 is unbelievable...Taylor is really something special...
did the "deciding " judge give the last round to taylor ?
i had hopkins winnig last 3 rounds which would of made it a draw
Hopkins won only the last 3 rounds, he didn't win any other round, yea a few rounds could've been a draw. Taylor clearly won the fight, I liked both guys, but I'm fair, I'm not like these Hopkins asslickers that are blind. It was funny that one judge add Hopkins winning by four rounds. This was not a hard fight to call, I think if anyone that is neutral will agree that Taylor won clearly.
taylor prob deserved to win it but the 12th round was given by one of the judges to taylor when i though it was clearly hopkins's round
Yea the same judge give a few other rounds to Hopkins that he didn't deserve, so what he give the last round to Taylor, it doesn't make a difference. The same judge add the fight 115 to 113 to Taylor. I had the fight 116-112 for Taylor & I've watched the fight 2 times, Hopkins didn't win any of the first 9 rounds, he lost at least 7 of the 9 rounds. A few rounds could've been a draw.
Duane Ford's 12th not the only round that was badly scored
Can anyone come up with a reasonable explanation for Roth giving Hopkins rounds 3 and 4? Taylor may not have been landing everything but at least he was active. A few okay counters from Hopkins doesn't make up for 95% inactivity in each round.
People are complaining so much about Taylor getting R12 on Ford's card so I just wanted to point out that it wasn't the only unreasonable score given. Hell, having it even after 8 is just ridiculous to me.
