These silly stereotypes need to be put to rest. There are plenty of stand up straight Americans (Winky, Mosley, Williams) and plenty of European unorthodox slicksters (Calzaghe, Martinez, Pirog). There's no longer such a clear divide between the two continents. Pirog to me looks to be a hybrid fighter, neither 'pure' Euro, nor 'pure' American, whatever those two adjectives actually mean.
