I think it is WAY too early to predict what kind of impact Vernon will have on the division. The fact is that he has been inactive for over a year and has come back to blow some nobody in two rounds. This is hardly evidence either supporting or attacking a Forrest run for the title. Give the guy time and a couple of fights against some contenders before we jump to conclusions...

Don't forget Zab's chin is questionable, he was hurt by the soft punching Spinks in the first fight. Also Tszyu knocked him down with one punch. I still think Forrest will be a tough fight for anyone at 147 or 154.

Forrest will give anyone hell in that divison he is slick and has good defense and a great straight right, he won the 2nd Mayorga fight in my opinion. I think he could be king at 147.

Can't forget...Forrest is no push over...he beat a prime, welterweight, and confident Mosley...and I felt won the rematch with Mayo

Yeah you can never take Forrest lightly, remember how he neutralized mosley's speed with his jab.

I think his heart is more questionable than his chin. Judah was only hurt truly by Tszyu and Tszyu can knock everybody out. Spinks did not hurt Judah at all, it was more or less Spinks firing a shot and Zab was off balance. Judah was never hurt at any point in the Spinks fight.

Zab would mow through Forrest easily with his speed and power. Forrest is done and has been for a long time. His confidence is shattered and that will be proven once he steps into the ring against a top 10 fighter.

id like to think that once he gets through a few more warm ups he should be ready to compete for a championship once again. To say that he's done or that his confidence is shot is a bit much.
