    I Miss Ibragimov :(

I really miss this guy he was mint in the ring. Anyone else feel the smae?

Shame he won't be back. Iggy was amazingly technical but at the same time brutally power in both hands with really good speed; he would make any of the HW fighters today bar the Klits look amateurish - the guy is/was seriously underated and actually has a pretty respectful resume.

He would have handed Haye his ass. Same for Povetkin too and Valuev. Him vs Adamek would be something a great match up though.

Yeah, he was a quality smaller heavyweight with top class skills, excellent speed and an aggressive style. He stunk the joint out against Wlad, but aside from that he was a very decent fighter. Would have loved to have seen him against a yougner Chagaev, or Adamek, Povetkin, Haye today. All would have been very respectable fights with a lot of excitement IMO.

That was cuz he made the ******ed decision to get with Jeff Mayweather and abandon his aggressive style. Same with Adamek with Mcgirt vs Dawson.

I'd love to see those too. He's only 32 i think, wish he still fought.

I think his family was pressuring him to retire.

It pisses me off when people call fighters like Ibragimov and Chagaev bums. Chagaev's slipped a bit in recent times, but earlier on these two were easily some of the best technical heavyweights of the current generation, highly skilled with world class speed and (especially in Chagaev's case) an excellent amateur background. Really a shame these two never fought each other. It would've been one of the best heavyweight fights of the decade, I'm sure of that.

Completely agree. And they did in the amateurs., it's on Youtube. Ibragimov also fought Kubrat Pulev in the amateurs.

That would have been a great matchup.

I'm a big fan of Chagaev too but something in him has slipped a little of late. I think the talent is still there but the hunger has gone.

                    Cheers bud!

I just like to see good fighters fight . I'm a fan with no affiliation to any specific fighter & raw respect talent in the ring (or will & determination when talent is thin on the ground lol)
