Yup, that happens in every fight. He gets his ass kicked for 80% of the fight, and then comes back and sometimes nearly scores a KO, for example the second John fight. If bouts were still 15 rounds, he'd probably have a lot less losses with most of his big fights won by TKO lol

True. That's his own fault though. If he can surge late, he can surge early. Maybe he just never got that trainer that really knew the right things to tell him. Kind of an underachiever, but at least he gets a lot of good fights.
