Watcing the reply, when the camera angle was showing the ref at the back of Bika, it seems Joe Cortez was waiting for Bika to do somehing when the opponent was on 1 knee. It was like 2 seconds and Cortez could have shouted to Bika to stop or hold into one of Bika's arms just to show him that there will be a count cuz of the knockdown before the illegal punch.

Bika would have been a much more interesting fight but Bute will have the pleasure now of KO Mendy when they fight.
I don't know about all that. I don't see how it would be more interesting from the first fight they had. No need for a rematch.

So it will be Bute vs. Mendy.

Bika has always been a dirty fighter, I remember his deliberate head butts against Calzaghe. And he doesn't need to do it, he's very good.

Yeah! That was the only fight Calzaghe was cut I think. He is a lot better than people respect. I remember saying a couple years back he'd beat Miranda and people weren't having it, but people don't realise how strong he is.

Bute already beat Bika, but I agree, he would make it more interesting than Mendy. He's gotten stronger and more power in his punches in the last few years.

Him and his team are destroying would could be a good career, he could've fought Brinkley in an IBF eliminator and turned it down. Now he ruins another eliminator with this.

                Bika is so dirty.

He has always been like that.

bika could have fought allan green as well for a spot in the super 6. but he turned that fight down for who knows why.

I heard the disqualification was only official when Bika's wife showed up ringside.
