Only RJJ, whose actually been in the ring, saw the fight correctly & knew that Taylor didn't do enough to take a 12 year champions belt.
Even if Jones said that he doesnt mean its true, i'm not calling Jones a liar but he was the last person to beat Hopkins, he probably wanted to be the last so he can say he fought and beat great fighters. Hopkins was one of Jones best opponents so anything that effect his legacy will effect Jones' because all the "Jones didnt fight anyone" bull**** people say.

This isn't other sports. There should be no favoritism period. I don't care if Hopkins is champ, he just doesn't get rounds or to keep his title just by showing up.

That's great that all those guys in other sports got calls they shouldn't have. The only thing of relevance is that they should have never gotten them in the first place. Hopkins should not have relied on such follied thinking being the wise old pro that he is.
I'm not saying all he had to do was show up. I'm saying that Taylor needed to do more than he did to take the champs title. & as far as the sport of boxing, throughout the history of boxing Champions have 90% of the time got the benefit of the doubt in close rounds. I'm not saying it is right but that is how it has been for years & it is funny that now it has changed. Shame on you for saying that "this is boxing not those other sports" like boxing is honest & ethical. All those sports I mentioned have more ethics than boxing ever has.

I'll give props to Taylor because he got the decision, but I still disagree with the final scores. I thought Hopkins deserve the win and not just because I was rooting for Hopkins. I honestly believe that JT was relying too much on that jab of his to try and set up some thing big that never ended happening. Hop although he did start late, should have gotten the decision. For anyone that says the last rounds don't count for ****, tell that to DLH and Trinidad!

Those rounds are called "CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS" for a reason & if you believe that then there is no way Taylor should be champion. SHOULD have been a 6rd to 6 rd draw.

Well it's easier to say that in retrospect, but all the judges can do is score each round individually.

True, BUT, that same judge gave Hopkins rd 2 which was definately a Taylor rd.

Well if you start AFTER you already lost 7 rds then you would need a knockdown OR a knockout, right?
