Do you think Shane ***** Carwin gives a **** if your boss is paying YOU fairly??? Do you think Brock Lesnar gives two ****s if the cashier at Burger King is being taken advantage of?? I've never heard such bull**** in my life.
      let the truth be told!

I never said they did. People need to realize, the majority of revenue that the UFC garners, is divied up between 4 en******: The 2 Fertitta brother's who own 40.5% each of the UFC, Flash Entertainment that owns 10%, and Douche Bag Willy who owns the remaining 9%. The fighter's get the scraps that fall off the dinner table. Even when it comes to merchindise, the front office of the UFC, collects most of the profit. In the UFC, it's not about the fighter's, it's about the brand name, "UFC".

Those are only the numbers disclosed to the commission. You are a fool if you take those numbers as the be all and end all.

All the top fighters have PPV bonuses and beyond the fight of the night, sub of the night and KO of the night other bonuses are also handed out to fighters.

No, the top MMA guys aren't making as much as the top guys in boxing, but that is what happens when you have a legit undercard and a sport that is really in its infancy in the mainstream.

yeah...but also what the ufc does is give fight of the night, and knockout of the night bonuses. Giving local and unknown fighters....the boxing equivalent of boxeo azteca fighters to earn as much as a showtime fighter even if for just once in their careers.

TS is using Brock vs Carwin as an example of how little top ufc fighters make compared to top boxers. And yet non-televised undercard fighter Gerald Harris on that same card got an extra 60,000dollars for knockout of the night...which last time i checked was more than what Ivan Calderon made for his last world title fight.

Don King isnt as bad as people make him out to be. For sure, He doesnt promote that much anymore and if you want to leave him then he will shelve you for a while but he has done very well for alot of fighters.

J.C Chavez, Tito Trinidad, Mike Tyson, Ricardo Lopez, Cory Spinks and Devon Alexander are just a few examples.

Take Lopez for example, He was good friends with Chavez who told King about him and from then on. He had all of his title fights on Showtime and HBO. Just think, In what other sport can a 105lb guy become a millionaire? Don King did very good for alot of fighters, It's just that we only hear the bad things he has done for the sport.

Dana White screws his fighters over big time.

I remember when Keith Jardine beat Chuck Liddell. And Chuck made $500.000 to about 40K for Jardine.

              That's just disgraceful.

These fighters need to boycott MMA until they get paid like boxers or at least closer to it.
since when do boxers walk away with 50% of the ppv money?

boxing or mma.. you could pay me 30 grand and I'd be ok with it.
people risk their lives for less doing other dangerous things.
fighting twice or three times a year.. 30 grand each fight. your living better off than most people are.. can afford some nice things and a nice house.

Alls I know is this, if these PPV events are doing as well as ZUFFA claims they are, then the fighters (at least the guys on the maincard) should be getting more then what they currently get. I don't follow the UFC or MMA in general really, but I do know that several fighter's have left the UFC (some have returned like Tito) because they had a beef with the fighter's contracts. Not to mention, let's not forget that they're paychecks get taxed, and that they need to pay off they're corner man. Not much left after that.

I can see why these guys got squeezed out when they tried to become boxing promoters. They wanted to do what they have ultimatly done with the UFC, and that was to fragment boxing into organizations, like you have in MMA and Professional Wrestling. Not going to work, and I for one, wouldn't want it to be like that.

The champions clause is the worst imo

Also he refuses to let the top fighters like Silva move around and take risk.

Fedor was right for not signing to that clown win/lose/draw.

LHW is so stacked he doesn't mind taking chances in that division.

Dana should co promote with other companies so we can get this **** really crackin imo

Dana stopped the Silva v Rjj from happening too
