Does anyone know if there was a rematch clause in the contract? I think Taylor winning this fight will generate a big purse and a lot of anticipation for the rematch...could be the big payday Hopkins was looking for, despite the fact that he lost? I thought Taylor won tonight, largely by outworking BHop early but Taylor sure didn't look all that great later in the fight when Hopkins decided to start fighting....Hopkins's corner was way too calm when he wsa losing the first 7-8 rounds of the fight because he wasn't doing anything...Bouie Fisher should have lit a fire under Nard's ass in round 4....Hopkins will come in to fight in the rematch...he has been dominant too long and slacked off against a good fighter and a full-sized middleweight that he couldn't knock out when he was behind (although he did shake Taylor a few times late)...Props to Taylor for fighting a good fight but the loss was Hopkins's own fault, not to mention the fault of his corner for not emphasizing how far behind Hopkins was falling. Bring on the rematch!!
