I don't doubt for a minute that Mayweather would rather let Pacquiao put himself through the meat grinder against Margarito and possibly someone else after that if he wins knowing that Pac's style takes a lot out of him with every fight he goes through.

Thats what cowards do. He doesn't want any part of any prime fighters. Look at his resume.

The last prime fighter his own size he fought was Castillo back in 2002. And lost.

          Very true.

Not just the blood, but socks...glove size...hospital conspiracy can be added to the pool of excuses.

Mayweather was calling out Mosley since 99'. It takes 2 to sign a contract.

Couldn't agree more with him. Barry Mcguigan is a good analyst, I like listening to what he has to say

He's a dreadful commentator but he's right to an extent. There hasn't been a recent fight where he wasn't a decent favourite, I think that last time he was the underdog or even money was Corrales.

Only losers fight people who they think will beat them. An example would be Jennings and Gomez, in their heart of hearts they knew they were going to get a good hiding from Cotto.

Winners will be sure of their victory.
                      _______
Putting that aside, if I thought someone could beat me up I wouldn't fight them unless a lot of money was involved. People could call me a coward all they want, at the end of the day if it was profession it becomes business, I wouldn't invest my money on bad stock so to speak.

This is what happens when your p4p #1. When you reach a certain stage in your career it's about proving people right. When you're an up and comer it's about proving people wrong.
