As much as I am a fan of Floyd, I must say that Pac VS De La Hoya was a more exciting fight.

this is kind of typical. read the whole article it says there is legal process in place as floyd is sueing the lanlord for failing to keep the property up to code. the same thing happened to me i sued my lanlord because he wanted my to pay the 1,900 a month rent but didnt want to make the repairs needed. so i with held the rent and sued. of course i smashed him in court as it was so easy to prove he slacked off on the upkeep. the same is probably going on with floyd. i wouldnt pay 10k a month and the owner cant even keep the place up to par. fight on floyd, fight on. the sad part is there are lots of people that have issues with their landlord. most of them dont fight back or they go to court un prepared. if you dont have an a lawyer, at least have the evidence to back up your claim. dont just go in with your word. go in with pics and noterized statements from people in the community. and a judge will take a close look at the facts. and most of the time the tenant will win. there is so many laws (consumer protection) that are in place so landlords caint just put you out. happens all the time. but if the tenant takes him to court he will get justice. the laws vary from state to state. but there are federal laws that supercede the state laws. dont just walk away and let the landlord win, fight back!!!!!!!

the racism aspect is unacceptable. you are right for calling that out. and all filipinos are not pac fans. also im not upset at the pinoys that support manny. at the hospital we go at it all the time, floyd vs pac. its all in good nature. but there are some evil people on this site. they take this stuff very personal. thats pretty silly. its boxing not real life.

Well, congratulations on your winning the case then. Obviously you were on the right in this one.

But from what i've read in the article, floyd jr's case is somewhat different in that the landlord tried in vain to contact floyd jr and his attempts to communicate with him were ignored.

I don't know all the details of this case so i won't comment on it. But the fact that it has gone this far and floyd jr HAS A HISTORY OF NOT PAYING HIS DUES (didn't pay even his trash collector!), show a bad habit of mismanagement of his resources.

Sure, its most likely that he isn't broke but the man should straighten out his finances if he wishes to continue his ostentatious lifestyle.

floyd fought oscar at 154 not at 147. if pac had fought DLH at 154 i do think DLH would have won by ko. as per the contract oscar had to wt 147 the day of the fight. so he couldnt re-hydrate. as one dude put it he just stood there looking thirsty. so once again pac and his stipulations gave him another edge in a fight. just once i want to see pac fight with no catch wt or other stipulations. and if he wins the 154lb strap on his first fight in that class vs an un ranked bum i will not have any respect for that title. as should nobody. there should be a lot of outrage for this BS. be you a fan of floyds or manny you should be pissed at this. so if cheto wins then he will be the first champ to win a belt while suspended? this is soooo wrong on many levels. all fans should boycott this crap. if this were floyd it would be the first fight of his i wouldnt bother to see.
