Hopkins' best weapon is his headbutts, which are responsible for most of the damage he inflicts on his opponents. But Audley is too tall and so they wouldn't connect.
Hopkins' second-best weapon is hiss clinching, holding and hugging. Audley is bigger though and so would simply rest his weight on Hopkins and tire him out.
Audley has lost to some not-great guys, but they were aggressive and hard punching, which is a style that Audley struggles with. Hopkins though is very very boring and very very negative, he is never aggressive or entertaining so he's a good style matchup for Audley, who would use his great jab to school Hopkins and then knock him out.
