he could have won that fight if a couple things went his way.

between his 1st loss to pacquiao to his 2nd loss to pacquiao , he beat morales , peden , juarez , ayala. only loss was to jmm a few months earlier and that was competitive.

a shot barrera doesn't put a competitive fight up against the version of jmm who one could say beat pacquiao , kos casamayor and diaz.
      good explanation...

Hatton was at his best vs Kosta.. not after coming from a Knockout and being badly shaken by Lazcano.

Cotto was prime around the time he fought Mosley not after he got battered into submission by Margaritto and went live and death with Clottey.

Btw im not saying they aren't good wins (the Cotto one is really great) but they certainly were past prime in my view.
losing by ko to floyd does not make 1 past prime automatically.

lazcano is overblown. he beat lazcano convincingly. so he got hurt. big deal.

        anyone can get hurt.

          Got that right,

Barrera had came back from head surgery, PRIME? Not really

solis and Diaz were green and true bums in boxing

one guy and one guy only was in his prime, JMM.

              LOL correct mate!

As they say here in NSB, when someone loses previously, they're automatically past prime or shot

barrera was prime in 2003 , mate. you better look up what he was doing right before and what he did after his loss to pacquiao.

how the hell was hatton and cotto shot?

                dumb.

barrera had the surgery years before.

it only became public knowledge around the fight.

don't talk if you don't know.

His confidence was shattered not just by losing but losing by KO, if the ref had not gotten involved he would not have just been hurt but possibly stopped as well. The guys defense was always a little suspect and he had taken some punishment, Hatton vs Kosta would still lose to Pac but not in such a manner in my view..
