Lets give this guy a chance, he is still a novice. Let him "learn his trade" and then see what happens.

He's as Tysonesque and will have as much success as Mike Mollo did

He's worlds better than the guy that The Comedian posted the other day who had the Tyson style. Tyson aslo fought out of the crouch and threw combination much better than this kid. He fights too tall and he commits way to much to one shot at a time.

IMO, if you cant **** like Tyson, dont try emulating his style.
No his greatest asset was his speed. Once he lost it he was nothing. He still had the same power, just no speed. Look at his later years.

Too bad, but White Tyson is already taken, that's Chagaev's name. He needs to pick another nickname.

In spite of what appears to be fashionable and talking poorly of the CW division it actually does have a good deal of talent. There is alot of talent and they'll all still be there in 3 years.

Chakhkiev is the future at CW btw. Graziano would leave on a stretcher if they fought.
Winning a US National title is a big deal for anyone.. its a great accomplishment.. although, somtimes the fighters who win dont translate well into the pros.. that's all based on style. This guy didn't rely on the point system in the amateurs.. he looked to bring the pain and his style can translate well into the pro ranks..

and to the others saying his footowrk, style, etc is bad.. The guy is only 23 years old and he has loads of talent and potential. If he's knocking guys dead with bad footwork and balance wait until he really gets his legs under him to throw them punches. this guy can improve immesnely within the next 2 or 3 years.. He's not a world beater tyet.. but the potential and talent is certainly there. Let's see what he can do with it. and the guy is a damn exciting fighter! I'm starting to contribute young and up n coming fighters to the forums.. because amatuer boxing doesnt get the recognition it deserves and alot of new pros arent even heard of yet

I hear this frequently when talking about prospects, Wilder comes to mind. Something as fundemental as footwork and balance...you don't have talent, then work backwards to get the basics of boxing down, that is what the amateurs is for.

People speaking about pro's and saying "oh they'll learn that as they go along" when speaking about essential basics that are missing kind of baffles me.

he had a short amateur career.. but balance and footowrk is a thing that can be taught unlike other attributes
