    Is Canelo ready for Estrada?

Since Rodriguez was on the bad end of a bulls**t decision, if Canelo is ready, he should go after Estrada. He is coming off of an impressive KO victory over Lora, and is a solid veteran. He arguably beat Luis Carlos Abregu, and has been in the ring with some big names like Shane Mosley, Kermit Cintron and Andre Berto. He's also perfectly capable of moving up to 150 if Canelo still isn't ready to move back down yet. A couple of his last few fights didn't have a weight limit and he weighed above 150.

But the big question is, would that be a smart choice for Alvarez at this point? Estrada is a dangerous journeyman, and showed in his last fight that he is perfectly capable of pulling an upset. I'd pick Canelo to beat him up though.

Even though I'd probably pick Alvarez to win, I wouldn't make that fight just yet.

I agree. If this fight ever happens, I'd pick Alvarez to beat him by TKO.

And Estrada may not be anything special, but he is a solid veteran. He beat Abregu in my opinion. He'd certainly make Canelo fight, and is capable of pulling an upset. This type of fight would prove whether GBP is ready to put him in the ring with dangerous fighters yet.

The only guy I truly think they need to stay away from is Randall Bailey. He would knock Canelo the f**k out right now. Anyone else would be a good fight for him. Perhaps Richard Guitierez?
