Bob Arum knows that no matter what Las Vegas needs this fight to fill up the thousands of hotel rooms and to make Las Vegas some money. The economy is in the tank and Vegas is hurting big time this fight will boost revenue for the whole town from the airport to the last taxi ride back to the airport and everything between. I live in Austin TX but I want a reason to go back to Vegas and this would be it. This would be like a super bowl weekend for Vegas let's hope they don't get caught up in the politics of bull**** and give the town a chance to make some real cash I am sure all the service workers like bartenders and waiters ect. would be pissed if they didn't get this big event in their house.

Margarito shouldn't be fighting anyone, especially the pound for pound best. If the fight can't happen in the US, they'll will just take it to Mexico. They might approve his license in the US so he can make the money there rather than in Mexico. This fight should never be happening anywhere, but there's no central authority to stop Top Rank.
