Id say 60/40 Floyd because he is the bigger name and is unbeaten. Cotto is a warrior and does not need to be disrespected plus he now has a belt.
I bet that Cotto takes the tests No problem.
I dont think he will beat Floyd but the fight should happen.

People seem to forget that Miguel is a huge name and brings in many buys, people like to see him fight. Pac/Clottey=700k buys Pac/Cotto=1.25 million, Miguel was that extra 600,000 buys.
People thought Cotto-Pacquiao would be competitive and it wasn't, Cotto got dominated and embarrassed. That's going to put people off buying Cotto PPV's.

100% for Floyd "Money" Mayweather. All roads lead to Mayweather.

That is true but that didn't deter people from tuning into Miguels fight this year and making it the highest rated HBO fight of the year. Miguel has a great fanbase, stronger than Mayweather and they do not turn their backs on him. Besides everyone knows Miguel comes to fight and always puts on a show. Miguel deserves 40% and if not, Mayweather can fight someone else, he won't make as much if he does though.

I figure he'd get 65%. Which would be another great payday for Cotto and another ridiculous payday for Mayweather and this fight will do better than Pac/Marg and Floyd maintains his #1 market position, while taking a fight with a fighter with diminished skills but with extraordinary drawing power.

Did Floyd do something to you in high school, perhaps put hands on you, you never seem to be on the fellow Michigan native's side, what gives.

Naw, I don't mind Floyd. I ain't a big fan of his but I don't hate him either. I just think Miguel has a great track record of drawing good numbers and deserves not to be low balled in this fight. Floyd/Miguel would do great numbers and a lot of that is because of Miguel having a loyal fan base and a reputation of being a warrior and giving it his all. Whatever Marquez took for his bout with Floyd, Miguel deserves more than that. I think 60/40 split in Floyds favor is fair.

After all the chasing he made Pacquiao do, he is suddenly not retiring now? To fight a fighter Pacquiao ko'd. Tell me you are joking.

Well Pacquiao fought him when Cotto got TKO'd by Marg.

                    I see a pattern here...
