Barrera is fighting a tougher opponent in Soto than JMM is in Diaz.

And I'm saying this as a JMM fan and a Barrera hater. I know JMM isn't with Top Rank and Valero died and all that. But it just seems like this rematch tommorrow night with Diaz is a let down to me. I don't think Soto is all that good , but neither is Khan in my view and I think JMM would beat Khan if he fought him. Hopefully that fight happens next because this fight with Diaz isn't gonna do anything for JMM's legacy. How is that gonna make JMM's argument of being the best Mexican fighter out of the three (Morales is the other one I'm referring to obviously) look if Barrera some how pulls the upset over Soto and wins a fourth belt?

Soto is better than Diaz at this point but your point is? Maybe this fight is just to see where Marquez is at since he hasn't fought in a while. I wouldn't call this an easy opponent though

Not only is he better than Diaz at this point, but he also brings a title to the table. Paper or not paper.

Diaz has done more at lightweight than Soto ever has.

                  Who cares about belts anyways,

Morales still comes out as the best one from the three.

And Soto is ducking Anthony Peterson...

Juan Diaz at 135 is better than Humberto Soto at 135 anyway. And I'd bet money on that if the fight ever happened.

Also, Katsidis, Freitas, Julio Diaz > Juarez, B. Pacquiao, David Diaz
