hooking up with don king, ellerbe calling greenburg a liar, and floyd cheating on GBP.... floyds ties with HBO will probably feel some tension.
They would make a huge mistake. Only way that happen is if Manny retire. If Manny retire, they know there's no way to make the mega fight. As long as Floyd is still active, they're gonna milk him until he retire for good.

why does floyd look so young in that pic , anyway if it is recent. i dont think floyd is ****** enough to sign his life, i mean his career away to don the snake king, he should know that guys history.

how can this change anything about floyd? unless king enters the ring with him and pounces on pacquiao. otherwise, i don't see him easing floyd's fear of the pacman. promotion or ngoatiation is not at all the issue here.

Interesting but this is all King talking. He's obviously putting his bid in. Don't know Floyd's motivations but they could be as simple as just picking the brains of a legend who has seen it all or perhaps even entertaining the possibility of working together at some point.

This story is vague. There are assumptions and speculation based on a couple of pics and a tagline.

If they're partnering up to make the big fight happen, then that's great news. Don't know how that's going to work out with Bob in the middle. With no further details on their meeting we can only assume Floyd's going with Don for whatever reason.

What if they're just planning to co-promote fights?

I don't see how that can be an issue unless GBP and Floyd have a long term contract which precludes Floyd from co-promoting fights with other promoters.

Money (dollars) has a way of talking in so many ways. We don't know the details of the meeting.

True, true. But IF and IF somehow Don King makes the Pac/Floyd fight happen, then i'd consider him the greatest shady boxing promoter in the history of the sport.
