    Mayweather/Pacquiao = Lewis/Bowe

It's time for us boxing fans to move on. Paquiao vs. Mayweather is destined to be the equivalent of Lewis vs. Bowe. Let's face the facts fellow boxing fans, IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN! This isn't the first marquee matchup that didn't happen and it's not going to be the last. It's time to move on. Get yourself some appetizers and your favorite beverage and enjoy the sweet science. No one fighter is bigger than the sport. Here's a list of quality NON-PPV fights that are coming up in the near future along with my predictions. Who R U Picking?

    Aug. 7 HBO - DOUBLEHEADER
Devon Alexander vs. Andriy Kotelnik (prediction - Alexander KO7)
Tavoris Cloud vs. Glen Johnson (prediction Cloud TKO11)

    August 14 HBO
Chad Dawson vs. Jean Pascal (prediction Dawson UD12)

    Sept. 18 SHOWTIME
Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Rafael Marquez (prediction - UPSET Marquez TKO5)

Sept. 25 SHOWTIME - DOUBLE HEADER
Andre Ward vs Andre Dirrell (prediction Ward UD12)
Mikkel Kessler vs. Allan Green (prediction Kessler TKO10)

    Oct. 2 SHOWTIME
Arthur Abraham vs Carl Froch (prediction Abraham KO9)

Exactly, I'm surprised people aren't discussing these fights. Floyd - Pac is over, lets move on.

You left out Marquez-Diaz, that's going to be a war. Possible fight of the year too.

^Yea man! Marquez, Diaz should be EPIC! You gotta love the look in Diaz's eyes while fighting Marquez. You can tell how badly he wants to do war with him, while Marquez is calm BUT is like Bring it on...to where the end of Round 1, they're both taunting each other. I believe they really enjoyed fighting each other and will show in the rematch!

Its funny how stylistically, Marquez has more trouble with Diaz's style while Pacquiao has an easier time with Diaz's style.

I left out Marquez - Diaz because it's a PPV fight. As a boxing fan I'm interested, but be honest...is a fight between two fighters both coming off losses truly PPV worthy? I know their last fight was "fight of the year" but since then Juan Diaz has lost to Paulie Malignaggi...Paulie FREAKIN' Malignaggi! The Baby Bull is going to get his ass handed to him. He's a pressure fighter with no power. Sorry, it's not going to be a war this time. Expect Diaz to cut up early. El Dinamita TKO4

            great thread dude...

yeah those are some pretty good fights. Especially Ward vs Direll which imo could be one of the best fights of the year. Both are extremely talented and **** floyd vs pac...ward vs direll will be better.

            Also I can't wait for Froch-Abraham...
that is going to be a great fight to, and I am very interested in the outcome.
