How about Alfanzo Gomez??? That would be a good fight! They are both around the same level, but i think Gomez takes him.

Rodriguez is not going to turn around and fight that quick unless he gets a real early KO tonight - which is unlikely.

Baldomir would be a good step up and a recognizable name - not something worthy as a PPV undercard fight though.

Interesting ideas from the Alvarez camp.

Mad props if Canelo fights Rodriguez although I don't think that's a very smart choice, he could very well lose that fight.

Alvarez got hurt, suffered a scare, and went 10 rounds against Jose Miguel Cotto in another PPV undercard. So how is facing Baldomir (JM Cotto 2.0) not worthy as a PPV undercard fight?

I would want to see Alvarez vs. Mike Jones or Antwone Smith or Shawn Porter, but in this climate of bull**** undercards, it's an improvement.

Rodriguez fought Arnaoutis not too long ago, I don't think he would turn down a big opportunity like this, unless he gets cut or dragged into a grueling fight.

Baldomir is 39 and I hope he stays retired instead of becoming an opponent for up-and-comers that he would have beaten a few years ago.

Canelo has more power than all 3 of the opponents mentioned and trust me on this all 3 fights would result with a ko victory
