What they fail to say is Kelly needs a new trainer. Sent him to Vegas get a pro trainer and lets see what he can do. He needs to stop drinking and live the life of a fighter if its not already to late. He has kind of wasted his boxing life by the drinking and not having a pro trainer...

I think it may be too late and, besides, I don't see Kelly stopping his bad habits any time soon.

Lol. Anyone notice of how Pavlik wants to fight all these killers now that nobody and their mama cares about him? I think he would've beaten Abraham if the fight happened. Which is why I don't understand why he didn't fight him.

What happened to the Chavez Jr. fight? I thought they had agreed to a fight in December? If not, Pavlik should take a tuneup fight this summer/fall and then decide if he should stay at mw or move up. Pavlik needs a confidence building fight right now because he's one loss away from being irrelevant...

Interesting that his trainer doesn't mention Bute nor P.Williams.
The biggest problem with Pavlik is his trainer who of course doesn't encourage him to live the life of a fighter but instead himself an alcoholic, goes from bar to bar with Pavlik, what a role model as a trainer

Pavlik would murder Angulo and Andrade. Those are good fights. But going to 175 would be a bad idea, at least test yourself at 168 first.

Angulo is one thing but Andrade is another.
Why do you think Pavlik will murder him ?
And how can he have any intentions of fighting Angulo , a LMW whom was lighter than former WW Cintron when they fought , while he has trouble maintaining MW ? how can someone think of Angulo (154) and Cloud (175) as 2 optional next opponents ?

Pavlik shouldn't even think of moving up to fight Dawson.

Well , Dawson said himself in the past he is willing to move down to 168 , so even if he can't make it , maybe Pavlik's management will try to catch him in his word , and fight him at a 170 catchweight . Pavlik may be better this time. But I think Dawson will beat him.
Hopkins is an extremely dirty fighter , which a fight against him is not considered a boxing fight , Dawson is a totally different thing.
Not suggesting Hopkins is/was any better than him , just that a boxing fight may give Pavlik better chances than a Hopkins fight.

Pavlik has hit the ceiling with Lowe. No improvements since his fights with Taylor. He should get an outside consultant/trainer to join his camp or look at replacing him. He has the technical skills, but lacks the game plan....we see the same thing in every fight.

Retire Pavlik !!! Thats the only thing for you. Pavlik gets beaten up by most guys since he never learned to box. He hits okey but thats all. Chavez would kill him :-)
