heck no, he won't dominate his division. having to get up to win is a backhanded compliment at best. yes, it's saying you have heart but it's also saying someone put you on your ass a couple times.

maidana's power won't always save him and his boxing ability is extremely limited. he barely got out of there against ortiz, didn't want a rematch and then disappeared.

he may have the power to drop khan but khan also has the power to drop him and the boxing ability to keep him on the outside until he can catch maidana again and again.

bradley and alexander will out-box him with devon probably knocking him out in the later rounds.

In short, he is a beast that deserves the respect of anyone in the ring with him.

Unfortunately for Khan he has the worst chin in boxing. You can't train a chin.

I think alexander is the best 140 fighter. But maidana is one tough dude.
I expect him to be a problem for anyone.

I like Maidana a lot, and I'd like to see him succeed at 140, but I just don't see it happening. The only reason he is well known is because he was lucky enough that the highly touted boxer he was fighting didn't have the heart to finish a fight he was winning. Otherwise, he'd be one of the smaller names hanging around 140.
