Honestly, I feel that boxing is suffering right now and this fight is going to show how much star power and interests the sport DOESNT have. the only fighters that can pull decent PPV numbers at this point are 3 people: Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr & Mike Tyson. One of those 3 doesnt even fight anymore.

The threshold they have to meet is not that high, around 200k buys I think.

The undercard is great for a boxing fan(atic) but not good enough for the casual fan. The marquis names are two guys who lost their last bouts, and their original epic battle was on regular HBO...

I hope it does really well so promoters start stacking the undercards..... but i think it flops... not RJJ BHOP 2 flop, but a flop none the less.

First fight was damn entertaining and I expect this one to be the same. Hopefully they get the numbers they deserve.

It will be a helluva' fight, but I just can't justify paying $49.99 to see it. Floyd/Shane was a worthwhile investment. First fight I've bought in a LONG time. I had to see it though. We've already seen this fight. It should be on HBO.
