The only statement getting made here is that Jr. isn't ready for a title shot after 40 something fights, and he may never be. Fighting nobodies in his hometown is weak and no way to prepare for a title shot. He'll never be middleweight champion like this.

Hes only 24 and yes he doesnt have a title after 40 fights but thats just how they are takign his career. Hes headlining multiple PPVs a year and Arum knows what hes doing

I remember Dzinziruk vs Nascimento well. Brazilian was undefeated, with high KO percentage and had WBO ranking. Looked good on a paper 'cause nobody wanted fight Sergiy in Germany then and he didn't fight decent opponent for a long time. But when fight started, from first seconds I could tell that Nascimento is a bum with puffed-up record who simply doesn't belong in one ring with Sergiy. He didn't land a single meaningful shot on Dzinziruk in the whole fight, while "Razor" was beating him UP, badly.

My point is: don't get too excited because of Nascimento's record and a fact that he went 11 rounds with world champ Dzinziruk (Sergiy rarely presses for knockouts, he rather systematically breaking opponents down, which was the case in Nascimento fight). This brazilian IS a bunch of crap. Period.
