But I'm also Puerto Rican. Being born and raised here doesn't make me a "fake" PR. I have a vast majority of PR blood in my veins. So if I say "I'm part Puerto Rican" that is a true statement, blood means a lot.

And that's really all I've been saying.
See I prefer your approach, You're correct in everything you're saying. The only reason I got heated was because I have the other dumbass showing his ignorance about the country of Mexico.

Nationality wise you are an American

But your ethnicity is that of a Puerto Rican.

Mexico is in North America so you're technically an American in a general sense, right?

You wanna know what happens when I see my family in Mexico?? They don't look at me as a chicano or pocho or whatever you wanna call it. They see me as family. Mexicans. That is what truly matters Thank You
What country are you from again?

What does it matter? I have to say, this is a first seeing Chicano teaming with a PR since he always trying to talk about PRs. I believe that if you are from PR, Mexico or what ever country your parents are from, people consider themselves from that country even if born in the US. Not bc of where they really are from, but because of the culture from the parents. You are not born in a certain manner, your parents instill in you their heritage and you become part of that heritage. In the US, people that are born in US from PR parents are called New Yorican. Legally they are Americans, but bc of the parent's nationality, they inherit the culture and the language of their parents and consider themselves Puerto Rican. Nothing wrong with that, eventhough, legally you are an American.

Struggles, who has not struggle regardless where you were born, or where you live? Every country has its struggle. People in the US do have welfare, food stamps, medicaid etc, but at this stage, when the economy is declining rapidly, is hard for people to make ends meet.

Embrace each other wether you are Mexican, Mexican American, Puerto Rican, New Yorican. At the end, if you cut your arm, and I cut mine, the same thing will come out, blood. It does not matter if it is Mexican blood or Mexican American blood is all the same, red.

These dumb niccas arguing about who is real and who is fake.

Whenever I see a mulato person I say they're black, and sometimes mulato, but never white.

Whenever your average white and black American see a Mexican, even though he/she is clearly a mestizo they're most likely to say that they're Native American/Indio.

                      True story.
