i won't go as far as to say gamboa does not want the fight. as we have not heard from him. but it is clear that arum wants no part of him, and juanma has used every excuse he can think of as to why he does not need to fight celestino. from he is the big draw to what has celestino done to deserve a fight.Just like I predicted. this is clearly arum who is running. this is the third time he has nixed this fight. i clearly back celestino and think that his length will give gamboa problems but much respect to my cubans out there who back their fighter, but unlike certain riicans out there actually want their man to face pelenchin and prove he can win.
it is the best fight available, and again we the fans get screwed.Comment

I tried sending HBO and e-mail and something kept going wrong with it. What I wanna know is what threat does Salido pose to Gamboa? Does anybody give him a shot? Is he better than his record indicates? He's another cheater that Bob Arum is rewarding. Anyone remember him taking steroids for the Guerrero fight on the Floyd-Baldo undercard? Caballero is the opponent HBO should've made Gambao fight.Comment

i feel you bro, but did you actually think execs at hbo where going to read it, i knew they wouldn't they accepted salido before for a july clash of course they would accept him againComment

What the fuck is up with fighting a guy with 10 losses over a guy ranked in the top ten P4P that brings more marketability to the table. You can't say Caballero is high risk, low reward and then turn around and fight a guy with a bunch of losses.Comment

i dont know much about salido bro so i cant say, but what i seen is that he lost most of his fights when he was under 20 years of age, and beat guerrero who is a decent fighter. i think in the last 8 years he only lost to marquez and salido and maybe another fight, again i dont know if hes any good but based on the stats i seen he doesnt look as bad as his recordComment
