DE LA HOYA was a great boxer and all BUT that is one dude who does not belong in PROMOTIONS.. He's proven over and over that he doesn't know what he's talking about.. He's a joke of a promoter!!

Well for building up an entire promotions firm with having ownerships in various multi-million enterprises including newspaper firms, law firms, and even sports associations, not to mention a real estate enterprise AND promoting the best PPV-wise fight of all time....I'd say 'not bad'.

What's funny is one of the biggest ducks in modern history was Oscar ducking Margarito and instead fought tiny Pacquiao. God how badly did that backfire! If Oscar would have manned up and fought Margarito, he probably would have done a little better and even if he lost, he would have gained people's respect. Instead he got embarrassed and quit on his stool against a 135 pounder.
