mayweather needed him for all the glory and money.

20 years time mayweathers gonna be broke, lying in a gutter with his crackhead daddy and wishing he had just taken all that money even if it meant him getting sparked out.

Actually, manny deserves props for financing his own campaign and helping under privileged filipinos to the tune of $12 mil. He deserves full resepect for that!

being a southpaw, i love that manny pacquiao has come along and shown new possibilities.

i appreciate the excitement that he brings. i appreciate his, sometimes wild, no prisoners way of fighting. i appreciate his on-camera humbleness, his work ethic and what he has done to strengthen the current fight game.

i hope that he takes his success and does good things for his people so that he not only serves as their pride and their hero but as someone that encourages them to follow their own dreams and do big things in this world.

I would say about 90-95% of the posters here are either completely or near completely ignorant about the history of the sport and what Manny's accomplishments really mean. Hell, I'd say about 50% are only fans of particular fighters, or fighters of certain races or ethnic background, and don't really watch the sport outside of their very favorite fighters.

Like the TS, I feel blessed to witness Pacquaio live. Years ago he proved to be the very best of one of the greatest featherweight classes of all time after he moved up from his teen years spent winning titles at the flyweights before he grew out of them. To watch him do what he is doing now, the only thing I can compare it to is having watched Michael Jordan during his championship years.

Past prime Morales beat Pacquiao. The only version of Morales, Pacquiao could beat was a weight drained shot version.

JMM beat Morales both times as well.

Hes not the best at all.
