Gamboa was going to fight Rojas in a unification bout in his next fight, they had a date set but Rojas pulled out with injury.

The way i see it is Caballero is an average to good fighter but not all he's cracked up to be. His mouth has got him a reputation and he tries to talk himself into big fights rather than earn it by fighting top 10 guys.

I don't see any reason for Gamboa or Juanma to fight him until he does his talking in the ring and gets more active. Why didn't Caballero try to make the fight with Rojas instead of Gamboa? Why has he only had 1 fight at FW when Juanma has had 2 fights, won a title and already has a third FW fight lined up.

In his last fight he only got a UD despite pounding on his defenceless opponant for a full 10 rounds.

The guy wasnt mounting much of a defence he had his chin up alot and just threw alot of punches thats all i could see nothing special there, he doesnt even use his height he jus stays infront of you throwing alot of punches.

Why are people afraid of this guy again?
Well fine if that is what you think of him but the other FWs are avoiding him.

For people who are saying caballero hasn't earned his shot, that dude beat Molitor at 122 where he unified his title. He's also beat some other decent fighters. His day is definitely way overdue.

Caballero is better then anyone Gamboa or Lopez has ever fought.

            Crap.

So these guys who are fighting fringe contenders and over the hill undersized guys should get a pass? Being active means getting fights, they ran from him already at jfw. Dude has fought enough mid level guys and beltholders and beat them.

And the last sentence shows a lack of understanding of how boxing works. Check the promoter.
