Someone should compile them,And better yet they should fing a very good "liar" to lie for them.
I am so over this debate personally. I want the fight but I am not going to talk about who is to blame for the next 9 months again. All I can say is I am disappointed Mayweather has not been more forthcoming in what was going on. I am also disappointed in Pac for picking perhaps the worst fight (in my opinion), with a lame catch weight for an vacant title. Sigh. Doesn't either fighter want my money?

To this specific point. I am not sure about tax codes when you make that kind of money. Unfortunately I have never had to worry about it. Tax shelters and government takes on certain ranges of the income change as your income in a given year go up so I would not be surprised if this was a big reason the fight did not happen this year. Since the players were going out of the way to not rip each other new ones over the failed fight until the latest fiasco it seems there is a common acknowledgement by both camps that legitimate roadblocks still exist.

lol @ Ronnie. Dude NEVER brings any new news to this ongoing saga. EVER. It's like he reads the threads here and sees that NO ONE(besides a few pac stands with tons of aliases) take him serious so now he's trying to be a little more middle ground. **** you! I swear his room is full of pacquiao memorabilia.

This is the one excuse that makes sense. I'm afraid of the tax man. Some one in Washington gets a new car from me every year, with gas and maintenance. Tax lawyers are another drain, they may save you some IRS money, but then they want a cut. It's no shame to say you're afraid of the Internal Revenue Service.

                    scrubber

Then have mayweather fight from Prison. Inmate roger can work the corner in a striped outfit with a ball and chain around his ankle. It would be like home for all the classy jail familiar rap sheet thick mayweathers(3). PPV live from Nevada Prison with the Mayweather trio fighting once again from behind bars in incarceration surroundings. Classic.

I don't know the details of how his accountants have things set up for him but more than likely he's an employee of his own corporation and as such subject to both corporate and personal tax (payroll tax, etc., etc.). This is MUCH more complicated than a personal income tax question. To say he'll get taxed the same for 40 million (or whatever) twice this year as he would once in 2010 and once in 2011 is naive. I'm not taking sides but there could very well be a financial situation that compels him to sit out the rest of the year.

If it was as simple as some on NSB are making it out to be than we should all file our own taxes next year. Who needs an accountant? Just go on line, figure out your (paltry) bracket and deduct your (outrageous) percentage. No problem!
agreed. it makes sense. explains his long lay offs, as well as all fighters of today who only fight once or twice a year. the more money the more you owe in the end. and since floyd is all about money, i can see him postponing a fight for a year just to keep a little more. but ofcourse, this media train must run its course until even i believe Floyd is beatable at the moment, and when that happens im sure this fight will already be in progress.
