I like Vasquez Jr , and martinez better , not that they are more skilled but anyways,

I have never been sold on the punching bag style of mexican fighters.

Marquez has wins over pound for pound type fighters in Mark Johnson and Tim Austin, those 2 were among the best fighters in the world at that point and were also 2 of the most avoided fighters in the world. Johnson moreso than Austin but they were both quite avoided. Wins over tough guys in Ruiz, Pastrana and Mabuza. He was the man at 118 then moved up to 122 and beat the fighter who was considered the man at that weight. Marquez was much better than just OK at his best.

**** outta here with those 2. I agree about Johnson and austin, but thats about it! he got KOd by Garcia in 2 rounds in his 24 fourth fight.
