Major props to ShouldeRoll he started a revolution I just wrote a nice email to the folks at HBO to make this fight happen. Sometimes you gotz to take manners into your hands. Lol as much as I wanna see Gamboa vs. Caballero id rather HBO show Gamboa vs Salido which would be a unification rather than still show Gamboa vs Salido but on a Top Rank PPV such as Latin Fury for 50 bucks because HBO refused to air it. Im rooting for Salido but realistically he doesnt have a solid chance I see Gamboa being too quick and explosive for him. Im pretty sure Gamboa and Caballero will scrap eventually, we all know JuanManuela wont fight either til they have already have fought each other. I have a feeling Cab vs Gamboa for the Unified titles in early 2011 and Marquez vs John and hopefully get his bros revenge. Juanita will still be in the picture after he loses to Rafa, probably making Wilfredo Vasquez move up in a weight to fight him to make his last good payday.

And by the way, isn't all the strategy for a fight designed the last part of trainng camp. Isn't the first 1-1/2 month all base on conditioning, losing weight and getting back in shape.

If this is true Gamboa should be approaching the stage of where he starts now his strategy 7 weeks should be plenty of time.

I'm with Gamboa that Caballero can't demand 50/50, not that he doesn't deserve it, but he is not the star, however IF Dibella came up with a "STRONG PROPOSAL" (which we do not know right now) there should be no excuse for this fight not to happen. I hope HBO denies Salido and brings a bigger purse to the table for Gamboa-Caballero, even if the delay the fight a couple of weeks so there be no more excuses from Arum.

Gamboa is a featherweight, and Caballero is a Jr. featherweight, but Gamboa is the one that has to do some voodoo training to get ready. What a load of crap. Arum will say anything, no matter how ****** it is, to protect his fighters, but Gamboa is the one looking bad in all this. Is he really scared of a smaller guy? He's the one that needs to step up and tell Arum to make the fight.

If you think HBO shouldn't approve of Salido as a replacement for Rojas then let them know. Especially since Caballero's team is willing to step in and let Gamboa get a bigger share of the purse.
