His father says Floyd is not going to fight this year no matter who it is because he's made too much money and 'Uncle Tom' takes away a lot of taxes for a certain amount and it would be like he never even got a check for the Mosley fight. Out of 100Million dollars they take away $30Mill in tax or something. 30 Mill is what Floyd earned for the Mosley fight and he can make around $70Mill for fighting Pacquiao. That's a total of $100Mill. So basically he'll have to pay his whole Mosley pay check in taxes.

So what's going on in his mind is "Oh hell no I ain't fightin' again this year!"

Pacquiao would have made a total of like 70-80Mill combined with the Clottey fight so he would have had nothing to worry about. And now with the Margarito fight, Pacquiao will make a total probably 35-40Mill by the end of the year.

He should have stayed retired in my opinion. I'm sorry but a 36 year old Marquez and a 38 year old Mosley is not good enough when you call yourself the greatest.

well that 38 year old mosley was more than enough for manny not to want to fight and marquez who manny still dont want no part of in a trilogy. marquez who he beat by 1 point gave manny his last 2 toughest matches who went onto knockout juan diaz FOTY and joel in a another good fight. only to lose to the best boxer in past decade IMO. they was good enough for manny why not good enough for floyd
