    What next for Alex Povetkin?

OK, so Atlas and Sacha don’t think he’s ready and experienced enough to fight Wladimir Klitschko. IMO, I think Povetkin should’ve fought Klitschko just because of the career high payday and because there’s no shame losing to the best heavyweight of a generation.

However, things didn’t pan out that way. So what does Povetkin do now to acquire the “readiness” to fight one of the K Bros or David Haye? What is their plan? Does he have a scheduled fight coming up? Who’s Povetkin gonna fight and how frequently will he fight?

Poor career move by Povetkin's team.

IMO him and Haye should fight each other. The winner will win the prize of ducking Klitschko again.

Teddy Atlas has messed with his mind and taken away his confidence - before Teddy came along, he was eager to fight Wlad.

He'll continue to fight clubfighters like Mora and Nolan. He may never become a mandatory again, because he'll need to fight a contender to regain that status.

        Povetkin is in a hole

if he doesn't fight top contenders, he won't get better, there's no point fighting bums

if he does fight top contenders, he will become mandatory faster than Atlas wants him to

so in the end, they should have just fought Wlad when they had the chance

He might as well just go home, be a potato farmer for whatever they do in the USSR.

I mean if they guy doesn't want to be a champion and be the best, or at least try even then why bother? why even be a pro athlete?

A rematch with Eddie Chambers, Kevin Johnson, Alexander Dimitrenko, or Tomasz Adamek.

I want to see a rematch with Eddie Chambers.
