the terms of a contract has nothing to do with fan which a petition irrelevant.
you need to look at it from the fighters point of view as if you were them. fans need to get it out of their minds that we can control other means lives. especially when they are the ones that get in the ring and put their lives at risk.
if pac was in floyds position, he would expect the same.
no matter how emotional yall get. 5050 and 14 days wont happen, neither will 5050 and full OST.
pac is going to have to compromise on both, and thats just the truth of the matter. so start your petitions or whatever, they will only get laughed at
i can careless wether floyd and pac fight. im more interested in floyd sergio at 154 or 160(for the MW strap at 160)anyways
It's not that I don't see where you are coming from butt I just want to see who's the better fighter instead of arguing with a bunch of ethugs.
You should be fed up. Because the sport is being run right into the ground. And I think fans are beginning to realize how close we are to that. People say that boxing will die - that's fine but it's becoming a vegetable.W hat's the difference? I never liked the government but damn, I wish they'd get involved.
Boxing has always been like this, so in reality I'm not suprised. I just think it's been a while since we had some real diva **** from our top stars and the only reason it's seems bad is because the boxing writers report so much on the issues.
Roy vs Hopkins would have been just as bad IMO if we got all the back story.
Same with Bowe vs Lewis and other big time fights that fell apart. I read a lot so I get a lot of the behind the scenes stuff and honestly a lot of those are just as bad but the problem is we never really hear of them. Everything concerning Manny vs Floyd is reported which is why it seems as bad as it is.
To be honestly I really don't care much about all of that as there is a lot of great things to look forward to in boxing. Right now I'm actually focused on amatuer boxing such as the new WSB tourney they have, and also keeping my eye on a lot of the young pros who will be future stars. Boxing will never die because boxing has always been the same. It has survived similar b.s. in the past and it will definately survive Floyd vs Manny not happening, the 140 fiasco, and they top HW contenders being scared to face the Klitschkos.
BTW the biggest advice from me to you is this: Just focuse of all the other talented boxers and future stars because the is actually a lot of good going on in the sport of boxing.

May sound silly but start a facebook page. Facebook pages, if enough people join, tend to get media attention. All this bull**** right now is already starting to generate attention. There's an article in today's NY Times about Floyd and Manny. The wave is rising...
The simple fact of the matter is that Floyd Mayweather didn't want the fight. I don't know if he didn't want it now or if he just doesn't want to fight Manny at all, but he passed on the fight and that is why we aren't getting the biggest fight of all time. The best thing to do would be to boycott Floyd Mayweather's next PPV, but to be honest I don't know who the hell Floyd could fight next that would even draw enough interest to be a PPV promotion besides Pacquaio.
