It sounds to me like Floyd was trying to side step Schaefer. Schaefer normally does his negotiations and promotions but he isnt fully under GBP or contracted with them. I think he was going through Greenburg directly and trying to work a deal that way without having to pay Schaefer.

It makes perfect sense if he can save money that way, I mean he already stopped fighting for belts, he didnt want Mosley's belt because he didnt want to pay the fees.

But it sure as hell doesnt sound like they had very serious negotiations because everyone was talking through greenburg and not directly to each other as well. We still dont know what the disagreements were over and Arum is more than happy to match up Pac with another in house fighter, one that doesnt deserve the big fight either.

Usually when you have a situation like this, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. My personal belief is that negotiations DID take place, but team Mayweather was not highly involved. It was GBP and Top Rank doing the negotiations with HBO and had to pitch it to team Mayweather.

I don't believe any of them. They are all lying in some capcity because they all have motives behind what they are saying and it is definitely not to tell the truth because that is what is right and the fans of boxing deserve the truth.

So I say **** all them HBO, Golden Boy, Top Rank and most all both fighters PBF and Manny. I have finally really grown to pissed off at all the BS these people have pulled. There are other fights to watch and other fighters to root for. I think I maybe even to the point even if they do fight I will not buy the PPV just wait until it comes on HBO the next week. I got a subscription to HBO and my directv bill is paid every month.

              Exactly!

I don't believe those three. Ellerbe is telling the truth and should be in the poll.

I tend to believe Ross Greenburg as well. It seems Al Haymon may have not been going back to Schaffer and Ellerbee and relaying any details. It's like they are creating plausible deniability.

THUS FAR, I believe Richard Schaefer the most.

Arum and Greenburg refuse to provide details. The devil is in the details.

Greenburg said he was dealing with "a representative" from each camp...WHO??

If Greenburg provided a date ("since May 2nd") then why not provide the name? The key information is who, who, who? I don't understand why RG would not say who. I believe RG in the sense that he is the only one who is breaking the law by lying.

Similarly, Arum keeps saying "the terms" but...WHAT EFFIN TERMS?!
