Comments Thread For: Team Alexander Would Consider Andre Berto, Rip Bradley

BoxingScene.com was advised by manager/trainer Kevin Cunningham that IBF/WBC junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander would have no problem moving up to the welterweight division to fight WBC champion Andre Berto. The Berto fight would only be considered if a deal fell through for a unification with WBO champion Timothy Bradley. HBO is pushing to stage a Bradley-Alexander unification on January 29. Alexander has a fight scheduled for August 7 against former champion Andrey Kotelnik.

That would be great. I think he can beat Berto. They both swings like wild cavemen, but i think Alexander can beat him.

Did you see that [televised] piece on HBO with Bradley Sr.? He was on there saying 'I smell p*ssy, I smell p*ssy.' Well the p*ssy he smelled was sitting right next to him, his son," Cunningham said.
Ohhhhhhh ****!!! That's some verbal throwdown right there.

Bradley's camp really do look like a bunch of ******* these days, what with them barely acknowledging Alexander.

Team Alexander need to be a little more respectful on their approach getting Bradley in the ring. The insults are not necessary. They are both good fighters and should respect each other. I think that Bradley has fought the stiffer competition. He's showed a champions heart by getting dropped and digging down to get a victory.I've watched him get tired and still whether a storm.Alexander has not answered those questions. It would be a great exciting fight, but I see Bradley coming out on top. But I agree with Team Bradley. This fight should wait until their names are bigger in the sport and then it becomes a mega fight.

Bradley doesn't want any of Devon.

Team Alexander has to be disrespectful to try and get under Tim's skin, maybe that will light a fire under him and he will stop ignoring them.

call me crazy but if alexander keeps piling up the wins on HBO its gonna be bradley who's gonna beg for a payday with him

he's had more exposure and a much bigger fanbase not to mention he's actually humble and respectful (cunningham does the trashtalking for him)
