I guess boxing needs more weight classes

First it was too many weight classes. But hold on because got people defending catch weights. Can we just cut the bull **** with the sugar coating, catch weights basically create ones own weight division, because we already don't have enough. They argue against the critics of catch weights by firing back with statements like "that weight division is any where from 148-154lbs, if you weigh in at 148 you are still a junior middle weight so I dont see what the problem is." But these very same people do not think its right if their fighter weighs in at 148 and his opponent at 154, or their favorite fighter comes in at 141 and their opponent at 147 even though they are both weighing in at the same weight division.

So fuck it, make more weight classes, what are the current ones for?

I ain't a fan of catchweights. But if it wasn't for catchweights you wouldn't see:
    • De La Hoya vs. Hopkins
    • De La Hoya vs. Pacquiao
    • Pacquiao vs. Cotto
    • Floyd vs. Marquez

    And on and on.

It's like vagina. Am I fan of yeast infections? No. Am I fan of holes where piss and poop come out of nearby? No. But I still like vagina.

You have to take the good with the bad. You have to be mature enough to accept that fact of life otherwise you're just a big ****head.

It's not the weight classes, there's only one real problem with boxing, too many belts. Catchweights aren't bad, but please not for paper belts.

What we really need is a Mannyweight. It should be flexible, and able to change for any given fight.

These fights were all for major titles:
                Whitaker-Chavez
                Taylor- Norris
                Pavlik-Taylor 2

The rest were non-title and I doubt any of those fights were for vacant titles.

I forgot about the Leonard-Lalonde fight which was at a catchweight for the Light Heavyweight title and the "vacant" Super middleweight title simultaneously. Not sure how Ray pulled that deal off.
