the only real problem I see with the margarito/pacquiao fight...

the only real problem I see with the margarito/pacquiao fight (other than the fact that pacquiao/mayweather is the fight we should be getting) is that they are fighting for a sanctioning org's jr MW championship, and I can hardly blame pac for that.

pac and marg are both 147 lbers. I don't really see how 150 lbs is an attempt to weight drain margarito when he is a WW.

honestly, the only reason why I think the fight is at 150 lbs is because a sanctioning org was willing to make this a championship fight. if not for that, I think this fight would be at WW.

The problem is that they are fighting for a TITLE.

if you read my post, you'd see that was my point.

having said that, I dunno how you can blame pac for that.

Catchweights are fine. Catchweights in title fights are bull****. You can't call yourself the champion of a division if you don't let your opponents fight at the actual division weight limit. It's a joke, and the more Pacquiao does it, the less I respect his multi-division champion accomplishments.

wait. how is it pac's fault that alphabet orgs are willing to make catchweight fights for their championship titles?

I don't get that right there.

I've had little to no respect for the sanctioning organizations for a long time. If they had some balls or weren't so easily paid off, boxing would be a better sport.

But that still doesn't absolve Pacquiao and his people. They're the ones asking for the catchweights in the first place.

can't blame the fighter if the organizations allow title fights not at exact title limit. any fighter would take advantage. stop the bull****. if they can get away with it, and it's allowed all will do it. pac is tiny compared to marg, and 154 would be alot to give up. he is small at 47 as it is. the ****in guy has only fought at 35 -47 a handfull of times, and still is willing to move up, and be so out sized it's almost not safe. how some of the crybaby bitches try to rag on the fella is laughable. he's an animal, and has bigger balls than any other fighter of recent memory.
