Why are they allowing manny to cheat history??

Pac is one of the biggest draws in the boxing world and if someone wants to fight him to get their big pay day and are willing to agree to catchweights, then I really dont see the big problem.

Catchweights have been around for ages in boxing, I cant understand how you see it as cheating.

But they are cheating the history books by all this 8 weight class Champion nonsense. Sort of like Roy Jones trying to cheat history so much by beating the weakest champions (or at least attempting to). Just because he's getting away with it, doesn't make it legit.

Just do the fight @ 154 and be done with it. Its a known fact what cutting weight more than the fighter can healthily do affects their performance. If I have to see Margarito fight, I'd at least like to see him fight at his best performance, not think wow...he looks like a dead character from "Thriller" or wonder if he ate that special kangaroo meat to make weight

I don't support this 150 bull**** but saying Margarito will affect his performance at 150 is another bull**** because he is a welterweight and fights at 147 most of his fights. Going to 150 will only makes him stronger and healthier unlike Pac that will carrying those unnecessary extra lbs for nothing. He can't even reach at 147 in his last 3 welterweight fights whats makes you think more at 150?

the rings criteria for crowning a champion is far better than any sanctioning body is all i'm saying. does the ring have marg ranked #1 at 154? would the ring consider pac vs marg as a championship fight? unifying a division is the only thing that holds weight these days as far as sanctioning body belts go imo. who gives a *** anyway...real fans know who the best are in each division. i'm not trying to listen to anyone tellin me pac is 154lb champ if he beats marg the same way i wasn't tryin to hear it when he beat cotto at "welter weight".
