Comments Thread For: Giovanni Segura: What Happens When I Clock Calderon?

The brand new world champion of the WBA a junior flyweight, Mexicos Giovanni Segura, is very happy because he finally got the fight he wanted - a unification bout with WBO champion Ivan Calderon of Puerto Rico. Segura sat down to talk about that fight, set for August 28, with BoxingScene.com/NotiFight.com.

Calderon will be seeing Segura's punches coming from a mile away.

Segura tries to be like Margarito, but not everyone has the freakish conditioning he has. Segura blows his load in the first 4-5 rounds, if he doesn't get the knockout, he's ****ed.

He should try to start slow and around the 8th round ramp it up in the last few rounds because if he starts fast, he's gonna get ****ed up for 7-8 rounds. Swinging and missing and getting countered and ****.

Its all so cute of him to share with us he is from a bad neighborhood , and that he fought almost everyday and that boxing for him is fun.

But , boxing for him is an unknown art. Anybody can fight , anybody can lace up some gloves and make weight and get up in the ring.

Not everybody can BOX. Segura wishes he had a bicycle like calderon's.

But , just like cazares , he will go out there head hunting against a complete boxer , one who outclasses most of his opponents , and the haters will talk , and the haters will comment , and almost no body will give calderon the credit he deserves.

But none of that matters because he will put on a clinic , and embarrass yet another mexican bull.

Im sorry that the 5 foot boxer/torero has been toying with every "decent" opponent mexico can provide , and Puerto Rico for that matter , but its not his fault he is so good , and other fighters are not.

Segura said he will knock him out.

Calderon has been toying with people for ever. he is on a different level.

When u put 2 people to fight , u have to understand they are human , they have different styles , skills , mentality , abilities etc etc etc. That one outclasses the other , when Calderon outclasses hes opponents , its not his fault they cant have it any other way.

He is taking care of business. Not everyone needs to rely on power and come forward style to make it in boxing , after all it is boxing , and some of them can actually master it

Whoever this guy is, I hope he does clock that feather-fisted midget and take his precious "0". I might even watch the fight just to see that happen.

then if segura is that bad, terrible,we should really not give calderon much credit for this victory,in other words another bum he will be fighting
