Were you inside of Cotto's body how do you know how that 1 extra pound effected him physically?

Why ask for it if it does not matter?

I could understand why Cotto is pissed there are not really any big fights out there for him and Margarito basically got the fight because he was the cheaper option that was willing to do whatever to get the fight.

But to say that 1 pound is what lost it is complete BS. He said he felt great and the weight didnt affect him. He was simply and completely overmatched. He looked as good as he ever will but just isnt good enought to beat Pac

        BOLD: Same question for you.

dwelling in the past and sourgraping will lead you to nowhere.

Cotto lost to Pacquiao fair and square and a 1 lb difference won't change the outcome of the fight.

When does a boxer say anything different from I feel great before a fight?

Why ask for it if you think it has no bearing on the situation? It is a simple question and answers what you asked~

Ask professional boxers if the make and sizes of boxing gloves alone will win or loose a fight for them, ask professional boxers if the size of the ring alone will win or loose a fight for them, ask professional boxers if eating a McDonalds big mac meal right before the fight will win or loose a fight for them.....every thing adds up to contribute one way or another no matter what you say. Or else Cotto could have ridiculed Pacquiao by using your logic and sending out a statement through the media when their catch weight negotiations were going on:

"Pacquiao, so you are telling me that 1 pound will make you the winner of the fight? So if I weigh in at 146, you know that I will beat you?"

Pacquiao would probably reply: "No, but it will help."

Can it have a bearing, yes. But change a fight from where Pac destroyed Cotto, to where Cotto beats Pacs is laughable.

Fine that 1 pound is the only reason Cottos lost the fight and being completely outmatched by Pac had absolutly nothing to do with it
