i dont see no problem with that. styles make fights people win and lose dont mean career over. jsut like the TS stated in his post. its jsut people gotten so greedy they only want fights they havent seen already. its like people being mad marquez fighting diaz again its a rematch of fight of the year if it happen in the 90s the fans would welcome it but we got fans these days that are very different very whiny and unstatisfied

See I don't have a problem with Marquez-Diaz II being made, because it was an excellent fight the first time. Rather, my gripes are that it's on PPV (even though it doesn't affect me because I'll get it free in the UK) despite both fighters coming off losses, and for all the LW titles being on the line.

As for the potential Mayweather-Cotto and Pacquiao-Margarito fights, I think they stink because both the latter fighters in those match-ups are only one fight removed from a devastating loss (Cotto to Pacquiao and Margarito to Mosley). Beating Foreman and Garcia, respectively, shouldn't enable them to receive shots at the joint 2 best fighters in the world.

In all the above cases, the fights themselves aren't that unappealing - obviously I'll watch them with interest - but the circumstances surrounding them are a bunch of bull****.

I dont really be on here much anymore because I think alot of this site has turned into fluff but foreal though, the hate on these boards are so unnecessary. Chances are if Floyd & Pac keep winning, they will fight one day. I dont mind at all if they dont fight eachother now, as long as they fight other good guys.

Im a Floyd fan and I think Margarito did some low down **** but he's still a name and a fight with him & Pac is still must see if you are a real boxing fan. I dont mind it at all. The same with Floyd-Cotto. How can you not want to see that? Would you want to see Floyd-Pac more? Yes but these fights arent garbage.

Then you have people talking about Cotto just getting beat bad by Pac and Margarito just being beat bad by Mosley but so what. Its boxing. You win some, you lose some. Its not like they are bums just because they lost. Great fighters use to lose back in the day, fight a top guy in the next fight or 2, and no one every complained. Now if you lose, you suck.

Then you got fans of Floyd & Pac who will diss the other guy no matter what and diss there opponents no matter what but if they reverse and the other guy is fighting him, then they would say its ok. Stop that Bull****. Its old and played out. I think these are dope fights. Im watching Pac-Margarito. IDK if the Floyd-Cotto fight is legit but if it is then I would love to see it. How could you not, if you are a real boxing fan? Cotto is still one of the top guys of this era and its a fight that has been talked about for years.

As long as Pac or Floyd fight guys like Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Martinez, Bradley, Alexander, Clottey, Mosley, JMM, Berto, Khan, etc.. then Im fine with it. I dont see the big deal. These are still very good fights. Lets be real here. Neither guy is scared of eachother. Not one person I named on this list is scared of another guy on this list. Things just dont always happened how we want but if they still have a chance to fight in the future while making good fights in the meantime, then its all good to me. Ill watch that **** all day

Your post is objective and unbiased...But I still completely disagree with you on the Pacquiao Margarito fight. I feel it is bad on all levels. The rest I pretty much agree with.
