Pacquiao should be fighting someone who will better prepare him for Mayweather. Someone who is quick and clever. Margarito is pretty much the exact opposite of that. He's known for an iron chin and crazy punching power; both of which seem to be gone now. Mosley showed that the chin could be cracked, and Garcia showed that Margarito's punches aren't something to be feared anymore (just look at his face after ten rounds and you'll see what I mean).

The only thing he has going for him is the size advantage, and that can just as easily be turned into a weakness if Pacquiao gets inside and starts a fight there.

Thank you, I've been saying the same thing too. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that since it seems to go unnoticed. Bradley or Berto would've been good tuneups, or even Judah to an extent. Fighters and their teams don't seem to do that much these days. Theres tuneups but it just doesn't seem to be the same. Although Roach I have to admit tends to be a great matchmaker for his fighters. Cassius Clay fought Henry Cooper to prepare him for Liston and that worked pretty damn well. Thats just one example.

Trouble is, I don't see this as a tune-up for anything. It's just a fight for Pacquiao to win an 8th division title. If not for that, I'm sure they would have put him against someone else. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.

The reach adv. that Margo has means nothing as he doesn't even know what a jab looks like (as an example).This fight will look somewhat similar to Pac-DLH. Margo will be sitting there not knowing what to do while Pac lands 4-5 punch combos. Margo is just too slow to be competitive in this fight....and I am not a Pac fan at all. I think he's a fruity little bastard if you want my honest opinion.

There is no one. And please don't say Andre Berto. Berto is the epitome of a head hunter and not much more than that. There is no one that can prepare Pac for Floyd.
