I don't think they're fighting. Didn't they report that they were meeting about co promoting events? It would be a horrible move for Floyd to fight Cotto now. But at the same time, it wouldn't surprise me the least. He didn't entertain a fight with Cotto in 2008, but 2 ass whippings and a debatable win later and Floyd's on the 1st flight to Puerto Rico. LOL...****in Floyd...Comment

No big issue if they are just trying to co-promote events. The two have their own respective promotional companies and nothings wrong with them trying to set up for post-retirement. Especially since retirement seems imminent for Mayweather.I don't think they're fighting. Didn't they report that they were meeting about co promoting events? Exactly, alot of money for Floyd, Pac, Marg, Cotto and Arum. They know what they are doing, they have been on the sport long enough to know this will make them money and regardless of what people thing, boxers go in the ring taking the chance to get hurt or ko for the money, not for anything else. Regardless who ducked who, Manny ducked Floyd or Floyd ducked Manny. While Pac fans and Floyd fans are in here insulting themselves about who ducked who, they are both planning with Arum, figuring out what will generate the most amount of money. Will Arum be mad if May fights Cotto? No. He will also get alot of money, next year Floyd will fight Pac and he will get alot of money. It makes sense, and I think they planned it all along. Fans say they will not watch the fight, but come fight night, they will be watching Pac vs. Marg, and Floyd vs. Cotto, if it happens.

I wouldn't mind watching it, but I don't think it would be as meaningful as it happening more in Cotto's prime, or after the Mayweather vs Pacquiao saga is over and done with and Cotto racks up a couple more meaningful wins to make the fight a little more appealing. The media would have a field day with Floyd if he picks Cotto over fighting Pac now, especially considering Pacquiao beat the piss out of Cotto less than a year ago. Hence, bad move on Floyd to fight Cotto "Right Now". Next Fall or 2012? Could definitely be possible. No big issue if they are just trying to co-promote events. I know its sad, but i still have my fingers crossed that Margarito gets payed out to step aside and gets promised the winner, and we still see Pac-May in November. I know its pathetic but they have been cooking this fight for ages now, if they leave it in the oven for too long they are going to burn it. And when its served we will pretend to enjoy the meal but in reality it will taste like ****.I wouldn't mind watching it, but I don't think it would be as meaningful as it happening more in Cotto's prime, or after the Mayweather vs Pacquiao saga is over and done with and Cotto racks up a couple more meaningful wins to make the fight a little more appealing.
