Is ducking fighters becoming a trend?

Ive seen so many threads around here that "this fighter ducked that fighter" and other way around. Those "ducking" can be reasonable for situations. If you reach a superstar status and some other big names challenge you then suddenly retire, that's a clear duck.

I reckon fans are to blame, all this, how many PPV buys did he do, he does not deserve a shot because how much money is he bringing to the table? he does not deserve this much, that much yadda yadda yadda.


Fans do far too much sympathizing.
